Meet Our Honorary President
Károly Lóránt
Károly Lóránt is a Hungarian economist and engineer with decades of experience in economic policy, macroeconomic analysis, and European affairs. Throughout his distinguished career, he has held senior positions in Hungary’s leading economic institutions, including the National Planning Office and the Central Statistical Office’s Ecostat Economic Research Institute, where he led high-level research on economic strategy and long-term development.
He served as an expert to the European Parliament, contributing to EU policy analysis and international economic dialogue, and has collaborated with global organisations such as the World Bank. An honorary associate professor at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, he is widely recognised for his analytical work on European economic policy, structural reform, and socio-economic development.
As Honorary President, he provides strategic guidance, intellectual leadership, and institutional credibility, supporting the firm’s mission to strengthen international partnerships and attract sustainable foreign investment to Hungary and the wider Central European region.

Meet Our Co-Founders
Márton Zsuráfszky
Economist and public policy expert, currently pursuing a PhD in Political Science at Corvinus University of Budapest, one of the leading higher-education institutions in Central and Eastern Europe. He holds degrees from Corvinus University of Budapest and the University of Edinburgh (MSc in Public Policy).
He has participated in several national and international scholarship programmes, including the John N. Lauer Leadership Training Program, the Young Hungarian Leaders Program, and the Hungarian Public Administration Scholarship Program. Previously, he worked at the Center for European Policy Analysis (CEPA) in Washington, D.C., the Hungarian Prime Minister’s Office, as well as in the startup and social enterprise sectors, giving him first-hand experience of both public-sector decision-making and private-sector dynamics.
Since 2023, he has been working as a Public Policy Analyst at the Strategic Division of the Oeconomus Economic Research Foundation, where he acts as a policy advisor on issues of national strategic importance, with a primary focus on domestic and international social policy. He also maintains an extensive professional network across government institutions and policy-making circles in Hungary and the wider region.
Combining rigorous academic training, high-level policy advisory experience, and a solid understanding of business realities, he is well positioned to support public and private actors navigating the complex economic and regulatory landscape of Central and Eastern Europe.
Péter Balogh
Entrepreneur and strategy-driven leader with a strong interest in international market expansion and the regulatory environments shaping business. He is currently pursuing a BSc in Business Administration and Management at Corvinus University of Budapest, alongside legal studies at Eötvös Loránd University, combining commercial thinking with a solid understanding of institutional and legal frameworks.
He previously co-founded Forum App, a youth-focused platform connecting thousands of students with educational and professional opportunities, which earned multiple national and international innovation recognitions and provided first-hand experience in early-stage growth, partnerships, and ecosystem building.
Professionally, he has worked across both corporate strategy and international business development. As a Business Analyst at 4iG Space & Defence Technologies, he supported board-level decision-making through structured market, competitor, and policy analysis. Earlier, at the U.S. Commercial Service (U.S. Embassy in Hungary), he contributed to market intelligence and helped companies navigate cross-border expansion and regulatory considerations.
He also brings strong public-sector and policy exposure. At the Finance Department of Budapest City Hall, he conducted fiscal and municipal budgeting research, strengthening his understanding of public finance and economic governance. He further gained government-relations experience in Washington, D.C. and built international perspective through scholarship and professional programs in the United States, South Africa, and Azerbaijan.
He currently serves as Hungary’s Youth Delegate to the United Nations, representing youth priorities in international forums, demonstrating credibility and confidence in global stakeholder settings.
Combining entrepreneurial execution, strategic analysis, and policy insight, he is well positioned to help clients navigate complex markets and accelerate growth across Central and Eastern Europe.
