Why did we create Global Gateway Consulting?

Quite honestly, not because there was a shortage of consultants, reports, or PowerPoint presentations. We created it because for years we have seen that Central and Eastern Europe has far more to offer than the international investment community often assumes. We saw a gap that was not being filled.

Years ago, while working within the field of economic governance and thinking about the future direction of Hungary’s international economic relations, we came to a realization: there is an enormous amount of untapped potential in this region. At the same time, one of the greatest obstacles to stronger international partnerships is the lack of information and trust. We can only succeed if we find effective solutions to these challenges. This is one of the key reasons why GGC exists.

While many still view our region as an “emerging market,” we see something very different. We see a region that has undergone remarkable transformation over the past decades and still possesses significant growth potential. A region whose strengths include a strategic geographic location, a highly skilled workforce, a competitive cost environment, a sophisticated industrial base, and an increasingly dynamic innovation ecosystem. Most importantly, we see people and businesses capable of adapting, evolving, and creating value. We want to help our partners understand local markets, economic and cultural realities, the true dynamics of the region, and the opportunities that are often hidden beneath the surface.

We believe in expertise. We believe in experience. We believe in international perspective. At the same time, we believe in entrepreneurial energy, agility, the power of technology, and the idea that modern consulting must naturally integrate digitalisation, AI, and innovative management solutions.
