Probably something much broader than most people think.

At Global Gateway Consulting, we do not view Central and Eastern Europe as a narrow geographical category limited to a handful of countries between Germany and Ukraine.

Our professional network, market knowledge, and project experience have led us to think about the region in a wider and more interconnected way.

For us, Central and Eastern Europe includes not only the Visegrád countries, but also the Western Balkans, the Baltic States, Southeast Europe, and the broader neighbourhood that increasingly shares common economic, political, and investment dynamics.

Why?

Because businesses, investors, and policymakers rarely operate according to textbook regional definitions. Supply chains cross borders. Capital flows across regions. Political developments in one country increasingly shape opportunities in another.

That is why we have created an interactive map visualising how we think about the region and the ecosystem in which we operate.
